Name and Position: Ashley Tong, Social Media Coordinator
Skin Tone/Skin Type: Light; combination

Milk Makeup: Which Milk products do you use for your everyday makeup routine?
Ashley Tong: Either Sunshine Skin Tint or Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in Light (or Sand if I’m tan), depending on my mood. Flex Concealer in Light, Kush Mascara, Kush Fiber Brow Gel in Hydro, and Lip Color in C.R.E.A.M.

MMU: Are there any products that you keep in your bag for reapplication throughout the day?
AT: I HAVE to have my Lip Color in C.R.E.A.M. for touch-ups, especially after I eat. I also have a Blur + Set Powder in Translucent Light next to my desk for my oily T-zone.

MMU: What’s the one product you can’t live without?
AT: Probably Blur Liquid Matte Foundation. I love this foundation and a little goes a long way. It’s also got amazing coverage that doesn’t feel heavy.

MMU: Which products are your favorite for your personal skin type/skin tone?
AT: I love using Hydrating Oil because there are so many ways to use it. It’s very pretty and gives off a great glow, and it’s super hydrating for the spots that really need it. I use it twice a day on my tattoos and it smells amazing!

MMU: Do you have any secret tips or tricks for how to use certain products?
AT: If you lightly layer on Blur Liquid Matte Foundation, it can actually act as a concealer.

Name and Position: MJ Johnson, PR Manager
Skin Tone/Skin Type: Fair, Dry-to-Combination

MMU: Which Milk products do you use for your everyday makeup routine?
MJ Johnson: I’m fairly basic when it comes to my skincare routine, but in the morning after I wash my face, I love using our Matcha Toner and Watermelon Brightening Serum. Those are the two products that I always use for my face. After that, I go in with Flex Concealer in Light and Sunshine Skin Tint in Sand as my base. I also use Kush Mascara and Kush Fiber Brow Gel in Dutch every day.

MMU: Are there any products that you keep in your bag for reapplication throughout the day?
MJ: I always keep my Kush Mascara and my Flex Concealer in my bag! Flex Concealer is perfect for touch-ups throughout the day.

MMU: What’s the one product you can’t live without?
MJ: Our Tattoo Stamp! I always have one around; it’s my quick trick to elevate my look and provide something a little special. I love having something to just dot on my face, my fingers, or in the creases of my eye. The heart and star are my favorite shapes.

MMU: Which products are your favorite for your personal skin type/skin tone?
MJ: Sunshine Skin Tint. It’s great for anyone who wants sheer coverage and whose skin is a little bit drier. Its oil-infused formula gives me a dewy finish. I don’t really prefer matte, so this is great for anyone who wants a little more glow. It also has SPF 30, which I love.

MMU: Do you have any secret tips or tricks for how to use certain products?
MJ: My favorite thing to do right now is to mix our Eye Pigments in Sesh (an electric blue) and Mermaid Parade (a bright green). It really pops and brings out my eye color — it’s super fun. I’ve been wearing this look to festivals and concerts, and I’ve found that mixing them makes for a really cool color that is so much fun for going out.

Name/Position: Zoonzin Lee, Graphic Designer
Skin Tone/Skin Type: Light; Combination

MMU: Which Milk products do you use for your everyday makeup routine?
Zoonzin Lee: I use Blur Stick, Cooling Water, and Lip + Cheek in Quickie or Werk every day.

MMU: Are there any products that you keep in your bag for reapplication throughout the day?
ZL: I have a mini Lip + Cheek in Swish in my bag for times when I want to add extra color to my cheeks!

MMU: What’s the one product you can’t live without?
ZL: BLUR STICK!

MMU: Which products are your favorite for your personal skin type/skin tone?
ZL: Blur Stick is definitely good for someone like me with an oily T-zone. I like to use it every day, knowing that it won’t clog my pores, unlike other primers that I’ve used in the past. I also enjoy using Holographic Stick in Stardust on my cheeks and eyelids on days when I want to switch it up. It’s like a highlighter and blush in one.

MMU: Do you have any secret tips or tricks for how to use certain products?
ZL: I swipe Blur Stick all over my T-zone, brow bones, and sometimes eyelids to prevent eyeliner from smudging. Then I use some Sunshine Oil on my dry areas like my cheeks. With Lip + Cheek, I like to rub the product on my fingers and dab it onto the center of my cheeks. Then I add more directly to the center of my lips for a natural stained lip look.

Name & position: Sofia Tofigh, Makeup Artist Relations Intern
Skin tone/type: Medium (olive with warm undertones); Combination

MMU: Which Milk products do you use for your everyday makeup routine?
Sofia Tofigh: To start my day, I apply Blur Stick (or Luminous Blur if I’m feeling like glowing) all over my face. I use the Matte Bronzer to contour my jawline and cheekbones and then I apply Lip + Cheek in the shade Rally to the apples of my cheeks for a little color. If my eyes are looking a bit puffy that particular morning I dab a little Cooling Water on my bags and then a bit of Flex Concealer in the shade Light Medium under my eyes and on my eyelids to lighten that area up. I apply Eye Pigment in the shade All Nighter to my eyelids with a brush and finish off my eye look with Kush Mascara. I also apply some Kush Fiber Brow Gel just to give my eyebrows some more volume. Finally, I finish my look with some shimmer by adding the Holographic Highlighter in Mars on top of my cheekbones. If I have a long day ahead of me I’ll use Blur Spray to set my look. At night, I remove my makeup with Matcha Cleanser and then apply Matcha Toner right after. To wrap things up, I use Watermelon Brightening Serum to keep my face hydrated and bright.

MMU: Are there any products that you keep in your bag for reapplication throughout the day?
ST: I like to keep Lip + Cheek in my bag because it kills two birds with one stone — I can add a pop of color to my cheek and my lips (sometimes even my eyelids).

MMU: What’s the one product you can’t live without?
ST: Kush Mascara is no joke. Serious volume, a huge brush which makes application easier, and it doesn’t clump on my lashes.

MMU: Which products are your favorite for your personal skin type/skin tone?
ST: I like being able to use Matte Bronzer in both Baked and Blaze when I need to go all out for my contouring. When blended into my skin, they give the perfect amount of definition and glow. Kush Clear Brow Gel is also great for me since my eyebrows are already very dark but tend to need some grooming or volume. The Holographic Highlighting Powders in Mars and Supernova both work great with my skin tone when I try different color themes; peach for warm summer days and lavender for cool fall looks.

MMU: Do you have any secret tips or tricks for how to use certain products?
ST: I like to apply Holographic Highlighting Powder over Face Gloss to really get the color to stick and shine. Luminous Blur Stick is sheer but has just the right amount of shimmer, so when I’m going for a natural look but want to play things up a little, I like to apply it on my eyelids, cupids bow, and nose.

Name/Position: Andrea Calhoun, Customer Experience Manager
Skin tone/skin type: Dark with neutral and red undertones; Oily and sensitive

MMU: Which Milk products do you use for your everyday makeup routine?
Andrea: I wash my face with a mild cleanser and moisturize with Hydrating Oil. After that, I use Blur Stick on my T-zone to minimize pores and absorb excess oil. I use a little bit of Sunshine Skin Tint in Tan and blend that in with my hands. I also use Flex Concealer in the shades Warm Deep and Tan.

MMU: Are there any products that you keep in your bag for reapplication throughout the day?
AC: I keep Roll + Blot on me throughout the day to help with any oil, as well as Flex Concealer.

MMU: What’s the one product you can’t live without?
AC: I really love our Flex Concealer. It’s the key to everything. Out of all our products, Flex is definitely the one that works best for my skin.

MMU: Which products are your favorite for your personal skin type/skin tone?
AC: For my skin type, I’m partial to Sunshine Oil. It has a lot of good ingredients in it that work really well with my skin. I put either that or Hydrating Oil on before any other makeup. For my complexion, it’s back to my go-to, Flex Concealer.

MMU: Do you have any secret tips or tricks for how to use certain products?
AC: My best trick is mixing the Flex Concealer in the shades Warm Deep and Tan. It can sometimes be hard to find your perfect shade, and if you’re kind of in-between, like me, a quick-fix is to mix a darker shade with one that’s a bit lighter to reach a shade that’s really perfect for your tone.

MMU: Do you have any secret tips or tricks for how to use certain products?
